About BOND Hardware
DANA HURWITZ + MARIAH PERSHADSINGH
BOND Hardware was founded in 2012 by Dana Hurwitz as part of her Pratt thesis collection. Upcycled hardware was combined with locally sourced materials to create statement jewelry pieces for club kids and members of the NYC design scene. Later joined by Mariah Pershadsingh, the duo continues to iterate on this concept, focusing on craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovative design. BOND is about self expression through bold design featuring motifs inspired by the power and edge of New York City. Past collaborations include The Blonds, DKNY, Prabal Gurung, Anonymous Gallery, and artist Chloe Wise among others.
AWARD WINNING DESIGNS
BOND Hardware received the 2020 CFDA Elaine Gold Launch Pad award for emerging designers working with innovative and sustainable technologies. Recognized for our powerful silhouettes, sharp designs, and eco-friendly processes, BOND has become known for functional accessories, sculptural motifs interpreted into statement jewelry, contemporary furniture, and art objects on a grand scale.

In addition to eco-friendly manufacturing practices, we are involved in educational efforts to cultivate an awareness on the environmental impacts of mass produced jewelry.
