Theseus and the Centaur Patinated Bronze Statue by Antoine-Louis Barye

Gorgeously dynamic sculpture of Theseus and the Centaur depicted in mid battle. Thesus has mounted the centaur whom he attempts to strike with a large stick. Thesus twists the Centaur's neck to face him as the mythical being's long hair and beard cascade down his face hi-lighting his crazed state while in battle.
What sets this smaller casting apart from larger versions is a gilded foundry mark on the backside right and it's size which can fit within and compliment any space in the home.
