Small Rectangular Kang Table, 19th Century

This table was used as a small painting table. The form and design of the table is typical of Ming style with straight corner legs and high waist. The top frame is beaded around the low concave edges. The waist is decorated with the begonia motives. The table was originally covered with thick lacquer finishes, but due to wear and tear, the original lacquer finishes are gone.
