About the Item

Silver foil folding screen Material: Paper pasted on wooden frame 1 piece: Width 595 x Height 1740 x Depth 18 mm Expanded size: Width 3610 mm Folded size: Width 615 x Height 1740 x Depth 100 mm, weight 11 kg Packaging (5-10 mm thick plywood sandwiched): 20 cm x 70 cm x 185 cm, weight 26 kg A simple silver foil folding screen. It is in relatively good condition, even among gold and silver folding screens, which become more textured with age. The backing paper has sunburned. There are tears and repairs. *Please handle folding screens with care as the joints are prone to weakening. It is a special technique in which the folding screen is connected with paper instead of hinges. The outermost backing paper is easily sunburned, so it is in the condition shown in the photo. Notes *In order to build a relationship of trust with our customers, please be sure to contact us via the inquiry form before purchasing. We feel uneasy doing business with customers who don't contact us at all. *As we deal with antiques and other old items, please understand that there may be damage, stains, and creases due to aging that are not shown in the photos. We have a limit of 20 photos, so we have tried to include as many details as possible, but there may be cases where we cannot include everything. Therefore, please feel free to ask any questions you may have before purchasing. *For large items, please request a quote from 1stdibs via "Shipping & Returns Ships from Japan: Rates vary Details".
