Japanese Antiques Pine Trees, Panel Painting/Sliding Door Painting, 2 Pieces set

About the Item

The material is thought to be cedar or cypress. 925 (W) x 1775 (H) x 30 (D) [mm] *Size of one piece 7㎏/per The color is well preserved. A colorful wooden door fitting with gold sand and pine needles expressed with verdigris. The front is wooden door painting, and the back is sliding door painting. It is rare to find wooden door fittings that have been preserved in such good condition. This is a sliding door with a traditional Japanese structure, but it also looks great when placed against a wall like a painting. This is a very accurate art that uses a Noh(能) mask with a composition similar to pine painting, which is used in the background of the traditional Japanese art of Noh. The seal "米年" is on the bottom right but the artist is unknown. The back is a sliding door painting, and there is also a seal of "米年". The frame is black, but there are painted and unpainted parts on the sides. There are scratches and scrapes in various places. The sliding door on the back is a linen-like ground. Please understand that there are fading, scratches, holes, etc. Sold and priced as a set of two pieces.
