About the Item

Print size: 245 x 360 mm Sheet size: 270 x 385 mm Exterior: 330 x 480 mm A masterpiece by woodblock artist Shirou Kasamatsu 笠松紫浪 "Large Lantern of the Asakusa Kannon-do" 「浅草観音堂大提灯」 Published by Watanabe Woodblock Print Shop. It is believed to have a 6mm "Watanabe" stamp, which was used from 1945 to 1975 If the original published in 1934 is considered to be the original, this work was published a little later However, since it was an original work produced while the artist was still alive, it is a rare piece in good condition Therefore, we are proposing it at a lower price than the original early edition. *There is some discoloration and stains, but it is in relatively good condition *It is attached to the exterior in one place, but I think it can be removed Notes *In order to build a relationship of trust, we ask that you communicate by email before purchasing. We may not be able to accept orders if we are unable to contact you by email, so thank you for your understanding. *As we deal with antiques and other old items, please understand that there may be damage, stains, and creases due to aging that are not shown in the photos. We have a limit of 20 photos, so we have tried to include as many details as possible, but there may be cases where we cannot include everything. Therefore, please feel free to ask any questions you may have before purchasing. *For large items, please request a quote from 1stdibs via "Shipping & Returns Ships from Japan: Rates vary Details". *In order to build a relationship of trust, we ask that you communicate by email before purchasing.
