About the Item

Hard to Find Pair (2) Display Pedestals from the 19th Century From China's Qing dynasty (1644-1912) a hard to find pair (2) of limestone carved "flower" pedestals - perfect for displaying your indoor or outdoor favorite pots of plants or sculptural works of art. They are weather tough. This handsome antique pair feature flowers carvings making them visually attractive. They were likely used as column footings originally but now are transformed into handsome display bases- just beautiful carvings and an unusual opportunity. They are weathered from age appropriate historic use as you would expect (green lichen and chips ) , but ready for another 100 years of service (photos). A genuine pair of treasures that would elegantly showcase your planter pots, or your favorite works of art in your garden or indoor space. Dimensions: Each 9.5 inches high and 9.5 inches diameter Provenance: Acquired in China over 25 years ago and a recent de-accession from our New England garden collection. Lifetime guarantee of authenticity: All of our Asian works of art come with our lifetime authenticity guarantee. We are members of NAJGA- North American Japanese Garden Association.
