This is a very old Japanese stone statue.
It is from the Meiji era. (1860s-1900s).
This stone statue is called "Daikokuten."
Daikokuten is one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune and is famous for wearing a large sack over his shoulder.
In Japan, he has been worshipped as a god of fertility.
He was also enshrined in old Japanese houses.
Its decayed appearance is artistic.
It is rare to find one in this condition.
It is a very rare statue.
Considering that it has been more than 100 years since its creation
