A pair of large and fanciful Victorian Gothic Revival style wrought iron andirons, each with a grotesque mask.
What better place to showcase your devil face than in front of a blazing fireplace? These fantastic sculptural neo-gothic andirons feature hand formed painted black iron with wonderfully executed and menacing grotesque satyr faces, framed in curls of iron, over shield medallion mounted scrollwork, rising on scroll feet and sturdy iron bracket. circa 1920

28.5" Tall, 12" Wide, 22.5" Deep (each)
Both are in great original antique condition, with no damage or losses. Nicely aged patinated finish, the surfaces all show natural aging, oxidation and typical wear from years of age and use.
