This wonderful Labeled Regency brass-bound mahogany navette form peat bucket / fire bucket was made in England in the early 19th century. The Navette Form peat bucket is handmade with coopered mahogany staves and bound together in brass bands with three narrow decorative bands in the center between the upper and lower bands. This wonderful George III Brass-Bound Mahogany Peat Bucket retains the original brass label that reads " P.B.M. & Co. Inc. 23 ".
