About the Item
An 18th Century Chinese Beijing enamel snuff box finely painted to the lid and sides with typical Chinese scenes, the base painted with a leafy gourd. The lid is mounted in gilt bronze. No visible markings but very likely to be Qianlong period.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. The hinge lid has seized up, however the cover lifts off easily to reveal the inside of the box. There is a surface crack showing on inside base of the box but is not visible underneath.
