About the Item
A charming pair of French Turn of the Century Louis XVI st. Ormolu and Tole Bouillotte lamps. Each most elegant unelectrified candelabra lamp is raised by an Ormolu saucer adorned by finely chased acanthus leaves below the central shaft. The support leads up to three berried foliate scrolled arms ending in exquisitely detailed candle cups and bobeches. The top of the central shaft is covered by an Ormolu trimmed green Tole oval shade below an arrow weathervane style adjustment leading up to a most elegant finial.
