    This is a lovely antique French ormolu, gilt bronze, mantel clock with Bleu Celeste Sevres porcelain panels, by the renowned maker, Raingo Freres, Paris, circa 1850 in date. The clock features a beautifully cast pair of ormolu cherubs surmounted with game, to include fish, boar and pheasant, above a circular enamel dial with Arabic and Roman numerals. The dial is flanked by porcelain panels with gilt highlights, depicting playful cherubs. The clock has an 8 day striking movement and is complete with pendulum, bell and key. This incredible clock is a must have for any collector of ornamental and decorative pieces. Condition: The clock is in really excellent working condition the movement having been cleaned and serviced by our horologist, and the ormolu case having been polished, please see photos for confirmation.     This is a superb antique French gilt bronze mantel clock with Bleu Celeste porcelain panels in the Sevres manner, circa 1860 in date. The case crowned with two cherubs holding laurels one holding a mask emblematic of theatre, flanking an oval Bleu Celeste porcelain panel of the playwright Molière . The base decorated with ormolu flowers is raised on turned feet and inset with Sevres plaques decorated with cherubs.     This is a beautiful vintage Country House Pillar Post Letter Box, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The solid walnut country house pillar post letter box is cylinder shaped and features a hexagonal shaped top with a brass posting slot that is engraved 'LETTERS' , a brass plaque to the door and a drawer to the base. The door is fitted with a working lock and key. It is a lovely piece which is sure to add amusment where ever it is placed. Condition: In really excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation of condition. Dimensions in cm: Height 42 cm x Width 21 cm x Depth 21 cm Dimensions in inches: Height 1 foot, 4 inches x Width 8 inches x Depth 8 inches Miniature post boxes were a 'must have' for English aristocracy between 1870 and 1910, and were a regular feature on the reception counters of grand hotels, and the entrance halls of stately homes. Twice a day the footman would be expected to gather the outgoing mail and deliver it to the local post office. Post boxes came in a variety of forms and designs, were generally in oak, but occasionally mahogany or walnut. Often inspired by architecture, they had varying roof styles and multi-sided or radial forms, usually with lockable glazed doors displaying the collection times.
