About the Item

Medium cylindrical form, hand-thrown in refractory white clay. The surface is finished with a glossy red glaze on the exterior and a two-tone matte black glaze on the interior. Design year: 2007. Limited edition of 99 pieces. All Bitossi ceramics are entirely handmade by our artisans at every stage of the production process. The Tribe collection debuted in 2007 with its first color option, later updated in matte black and lacquer red, and most recently released in a gloss finish with contrasting matte enamel in midnight blue, brown, and mustard yellow. The set consists of six circular shapes of bowls and vases that are stackable and have a velvety texture thanks to the soft enamel. The lathe‑forged design with refractory earth features a scratched texture, the ultimate expression of craftsmanship.
