19th Century Bronze Statue of a Classical Greek Faun Dancing



A mid-late 19th century Grand Tour classical bronze of a dancing faun with cymbals of good patina, after the antique. This piece is taken from the original marble figure in the Tribuna gallery in the Uffizi, Florence dating from the 17th century. This bronze is of very good color (patina) and is cast after the figure by Issak Duchemin. Measures: 56cm (22") high.
