Pair of Turquoise Opaline Glass Vases Hand-Painted with Parakeets and Flowers
Located in Queens Village, NY

These pair of opaline vases are decorated with gorgeous hand-painted parakeets and flowers on one side and butterflies and flowers on the other. The rim on top and bottom are gilded. We are selling this beautiful vases on different platforms; please check availability before purchasing. More photos may be provided if necessary. Storyteller: Once upon a time, there was a lovely couple who had recently relocated to their dream home in France. When organizing their attic, they discovered a pair of beautiful opaline glass vases that had been passed down from generation to generation. The vases were stunning, with intricate designs of parakeets and butterflies surrounded by flowers painted in the most beautiful blue colors. The vases had an antique enchantment that drew the two in, and their beauty captured them. They noticed something odd as they placed the vases on the coffee table. There had particular energy about them, almost as if they were alive. The vases radiated warmth and love, and the couple felt like they were being welcomed by an old, beloved friend. The couple couldn't help but sense a connection to the vases as they sat on the couch. These were more than just decorative items; they had a history of love and passion that had spanned generations. The vases served as a window into the couple's history, reminding them of the beauty and enchantment of love. As time passed, the pair would frequently sit by the vases, holding hands and telling stories about their own love journey. They'd talk about the highs and lows, and how their love had grown stronger with each passing day. They could feel the vases beaming back at them as they talked as if to say, "Love never dies." Years passed, and the couple grew old together, but their love remained constant. Throughout it all, the vases served as a continual reminder of love's undying strength. They were no longer just antiques; they were a symbol of the couple's personal love story, a memory of their shared journey. So the pair of blue opaline glass vases...

Set of Tree Large Painted & Gilded Blue Opaline Glass Urns from 19th Century
By Johann Georg Meyer Von Bremen
Located in Queens Village, NY
A spectacular collection of three painted and gilded blue opaline glass urns was created in Germany between 1845 and 1855. These stunning pieces have exceptional oval-shaped designs that are both elegant and captivating. These exquisite urns are hand-painted with white enamel floral motifs and illustrate themes from Hessian peasant life. The three urns are in excellent shape, with no chips or cracks detected, increasing their rarity and value. The sumptuous opaline glass is opaque and has a distinct blue tone, which is heightened by the carefully applied gilding, making this set a visual delight. This limited-edition set is a tribute to 19th-century German workmanship, and it is certain to bring a touch of refinement and sophistication to any collection or interior design project. Victorian Style Pair of English Toilet Flasks Crystal Ground and Sterling Silver
Located in Prato, Tuscany
We kindly suggest you read the whole description, because with it we try to give you detailed technical and historical information to guarantee the authenticity of our objects. Particular pair of toilet bottles in cut and ground by hand crystal; for their execution it was used crystal with a percentage of lead of 30%; the high lead content, instead of calcium present in the common glass, gives the crystal a remarkable hardness, exceptional transparency, and a high refractive index; with the techniques of cutting, grinding and polishing, scrupulously performed by hand, extraordinary light effects and reflections were created; the bottles with the ball body are surmounted by a silver neck and a hinged lid finely chiseled with Victorian motifs. They bear the Classic English silver punches from which we can tell that they were produced in the Victorian style in the city of Birmingham in 1907 (Edward VII) by the firm Phineas Harris Levi & Joseph Wolfe Salaman. The company was founded in 1870 in Birmingham on Northampton Street, in 1872 moved to larger premises on Hockley Street and in 1885 the business was finally moved to a prestigious building on Newhall Street. Levi & Salaman produced much Fine silverware...
