About the Item
A pretty art deco ceramic vase with cherub and bird motif. This petite piece is by UCAGCO and was created in occupied Japan. It is made of ceramic and features a gilt handle on either side of the top rim. The base is round, and smaller than the body. The body is decorated with hand-painted cherubs, flowers, and birds in bright green, blue, pink, and yellow. Around the top of the vessel, a pierced diamond pattern decorates one side. The bottom is stamped with the maker's mark. This piece reminds us of Capodimonte. Fill this petite vase with water and a few of your favorite flowers and style on a desk or side table to add a touch of feminine softness to any space.
