Art Nouveau Weller Style Iridescent Amber & Gold Raku Fired Vase, Pair

About the Item

Original pair of Raku-fired Art Nouveau-style vases, reminiscent of Weller Pottery's design enchant with their iridescent dual-tone glaze. The Raku firing process imparts unique, unpredictable patterns and a striking contrast of colors, giving these vases a distinctive finish that captures the essence of the Raku technique. The Art Nouveau style blends elegant curves with the vibrant effects of this traditional ceramic method. The bottom half exudes a deep amber-brown gold, beautifully transitioning into a radiant golden hue at the top. Similar to Weller's celebrated creations, these vases capture a timeless beauty, ideal as centerpieces or for showcasing delicate floral arrangements. Their luminous surfaces invite admiration, adding a vintage sophistication to any space. Larger Vase: 8 3/4" H x 9"W Smaller Vase: 6 1/4" H x 6"W United States, 1970
