About the Item

Ceramic vase, design Marco SILOMBRIA for G.M.A. 1903. ORIGIN Albisola PERIOD 1996 DESIGNER Mark SILOMBRIA born in Savona in 1936 completed his artistic training at the city's 'Arturo Martini' classical high school, a student of Emilio Scanavino. At the beginning of the second half of the 1960s he moved to Turin where he opened a publicity agency. he 1960s he approached ceramics and took up occasional attendance at Ernesto Daglio's 'La Fenice' manufactory of Albisola, for which he made some models intended for production. From the mid-1980s he left advertising for good to devote himself to painting and ceramics and spent some time in the Albisole where he collaborated with various manufactures including the 'Factory House Museum Giuseppe Mazzotti 1903' owned by Bepi Mazzotti and his son Tullio (second of the name) and here he produced refined works inspired by classical vascular culture.
