About the Item
Pair of mid-century Danish brutalist style square vases by ceramist and artist Jytte Trebbien handmade in the 1970s.
The rustic vases are made of chamotte clay which gives a rough and vivid surface. The large vase has a glossy greenish-brown glaze with turquoise elements. The smaller has a glossy glaze in shades of blue.
The vases have a fine expression and a delicate surface that suits both brutalist style as well as the more traditional scandinavian.
