About the Item

A late 1940s stoneware vase by Nancy Wickham Boyd featuring a dynamic double helix motif. The sgrafitto design is highlighted with green glazing. Like quite a few well-known NYC potters Nancy got her start working for a few years at Design-Technics under Lee Rosen and struck out on her own around 1950. Condition on the vase is fantastic and displays wonderfully.
