Antique late-19th Century Victorian novelty solid silver & glass champagne bottle shaped decanter, with hinged lids and glass stopper. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London year 1895 (U), Maker J.G&S (John Grinsell & Sons). It is easy to imagine the appeal behind this objects which would have made wonderful items to wow the guests, making a fantastic conversation piece and wonderful as part of a collection of barware in the modern home.
