Tall sculptural floor vase with textured surface designed by John Andersson for Andersson & Johansson Höganäs in the 1950s. Handmade at Höganäs in Sweden. Made from earthenware with matte textured white glaze. Very good condition with few signs of wear and patina. Stamped AJ Höganäs underneath, the stamp used from 1920-1958.
The vase has a strong modernist shape with richly textured surface, giving it a tactile and dynamic appearance. Looks great in a mid century or minimalistic interior.
