Cork. A Very Rare George III Wine Label Made in Cork circa 1780 by M. Mcdermott.
The Wine Label is modelled in an unusual design with narrow rectangular banner below engraved for MADEIRA, and a high domed pierced section above with single eyelet to which the chain is attached. The label is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse with McDermott's distinctive maker's mark.

This fine antique George III sterling silver decanter label/bottle ticket has a subtly convex, plain rectangular rounded cornered form.
