About the Item

European ceramic plate. Decorated with blue flowers and leaves on a white background, characterized by simplicity and elegance. This piece takes a minimalist decorative approach, with an ornate border and a predominantly white center, providing a soft visual balance. The rim of the plate is decorated with a stylized floral pattern in shades of blue. Small, delicate flowers form continuous garlands, interspersed with leaves and fan-shaped geometric patterns. The use of blue in different intensities creates depth and contrast, highlighting the details of the design. The stylized leaves and symmetrically arranged flowers are reminiscent of a classic style of 19th century porcelain, especially from England and France. The lack of decoration in the center of the plate directs attention to the ornate rim, reinforcing the idea that the piece could be used both utilitarianly and decoratively. The thin blue outline on the inner circle helps create a smooth transition between the detailed border and the empty center space. This type of blue and white porcelain is widely associated with the "Blue Willow" movement or traditional European floral patterns, which were inspired by Chinese porcelain exported to the West in previous centuries. The combination of classic design and the use of blue make this piece versatile and timeless, suitable for traditional environments. Large hairs, cooking flaws and chips.
