Description
A refined and collectible pair of Portuguese salt cellars, crafted in natural shell with sterling silver mounts and feet, each accompanied by its original silver spoon. The silver rim follows the organic form of the shell, creating a beautifully functional object with strong decorative appeal.
Marked with the official Portuguese “Águia” hallmark, used in Lisbon after 1985 to certify 925 silver purity, this set likely dates from the late 20th century, reflecting both traditional silversmithing techniques and whimsical coastal inspiration.
