- Condition:Refinished. Repaired: The knife and fork have had a little lubrication on the hinges, but no other work, whatsoever. Their box appears to have been sliding about in a drawer for possibly 150 years. I have polished it and strengthened the hinge, and it is nearly as new. Minor structural damages. A superb Fruit Knife and matching Fork. In perfect unused condition although the original box is a little worn, and has had a minor repair. I have applied a strip of black leatherette to the back of the box, to strengthen the hinge - see picture 8.
