This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver posy holder has a conical shaped form onto three legs. The surface of the holder has a frosted finish and is embellished with bright cut engraved Greek Key fret band ornamentation in addition to stylized leaf motifs. The body is further ornamented with an applied knop encircled with bead ornamentation flanked with a scalloped border and collet set cabouchon turquoises. The upper portion of this impressive example of Victorian silverware is encompassed with a protruding undulating band accented with further collet set turquoise alternating with a swagged chain articulating from ring loops. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver coffee jug made by Joseph Angell I & Joseph Angell II; an addition to our antique silverware collection. This exceptional antique sterling silver coffee jug, in sterling standard, has a baluster form. The body of this Victorian coffee jug is embellished with an impressive broad band of bright cut ornamentation depicting connected Grecian figures intertwined with long flowing fabric, all on a matte background. This narrative scene is flanked with an impressive interlacing leaf decorated border to the lower portion and a scrolling Akroter decorated band to the upper portion, in addition to plain moulded borders to the rims. This impressive antique coffee jug is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover encircled with a bright cut engraved undulating band; the flush indicates the high quality of the piece. The cover is surmounted by the original sterling silver finial in the formation of a flower comprised of scrolling leaf designs and textures. The coffee jug retains the original rounded sterling silver handle, incorporating a leaf design to the upper portion and an exceptional leaf design to the lower socket. An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare set of twelve antique Victorian English sterling silver tot mugs - boxed; an addition to our range of wine and drink related silverware These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver mugs/tot cups have a tapering cylindrical form. The surface of each solid silver mug is encircled with two fine and impressive broad bands of tooled decoration, in addition to the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a spur erect between two wings. The upper rim of each mug is encompassed with a plain applied moulded border. Each mug is fitted with a plain C shaped handle, with tapering sockets. The underside of each mug bears the retailer's mark 'Hunt & Roskell'. These exceptional mugs retain the original gilded interiors.
