Midcentury Digsmed Teak Salt & Pepper Dispenser Set & Serving Tray 1960s Denmark
About the Item
Made from a beautiful teak (wood) – here is a combined set of original Digsmed salt & pepper dispensers, plus a serving tray ( 103 ) with a round handle, originally designed to serve drinking glasses.
The ‘mushroom’-dispensers are somewhat well made – and so is the tray.
Design and manufacture by famous Danish Artist and cabinetmaker Flemming Digsmed.
Absolutely stunning is the design of the dispensers, how the wooden panels are being put together to then being turned into the final shape!
Dimensions:
Salt & pepper dispensers at the top 8.5cm (85mm) approx. Height 11cm ( 110 ) approx.
Tray ( Design 103 -) 20cm ( 220mm ) approx., Height 27cm ( 270mm ) approx.
Materials: teak wood, stainless steel (pepper grinder)
The pepper grinder comes with a magnetic brass plug to fill in new provisions
