About the Item

A pair of magnificent Sterling Silver Sauce Boats by Georg Jensen with gorgeous blossom inspired handles. Each Gravy Boat stands on an oval spread foot and the body of each sauce boat is very lightly hammered. There is a chased patterned band between the body and the foot. Gorgeous for condiments and gravy on the table. One Jug is design number 177 and the other is 177A. Visually they are almost identical, although the central curve on the handle of 177 is wider than that of 177A. Made in Denmark by Georg Jensen. Hallmark for 1945 - 1977. Approx.
