An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver cream jug in the Arts & Crafts style; an addition to our range of collectable silverware. This exceptional antique Edwardian silver cream jug, in sterling standard, has a circular rounded form. The surface of the jug has a planished finish in the Arts & Crafts style. This impressive Birmingham silver jug is encompassed with an applied moulded border to the rim of the body and spout. The jug is fitted with a plain sterling silver stylised C-shaped handle. This sterling silver cream jug has four cast Arts & Crafts style pillar style supports terminating with square swept feet. Condition This antique Edwardian silver cream jug is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition. A fine and impressive pair of antique Victorian English sterling silver sparrow beak style creamers, boxed; an addition to our silver teaware collection. These impressive antique Victorian sterling silver cream jugs have a plain baluster sparrow beak style form onto a circular spreading foot. The body of each jug is embellished to one side with two impressive bright cut engraved crests, a stag's head erased and a thistle erect, leaved below the motto ‘Yvery’. The jugs are fitted with opposing scroll handles, each ornamented with a subtle plain thumb piece. These impressive antique cream jugs have sparrow beak style spouts. These cream jugs are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior and push fit catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer’s mark ‘William Angus & Sons Silversmiths, 27 & 29 Lord Street, Liverpool’.
