An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Victorian English sterling silver spirit kettle; an addition to our antique silver teaware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a melon shaped, incurved paneled form. Each segment of the paneled body is embellished with impressive alternating flat engraved designs incorporating quatrefoil motifs accented with bordered leaf ornamentation and a trellis pattern, all encompassed with a matte texture. The upper portion of the body is encircled with a flat engraved undulating border with applied moulded decoration to the scalloped rim. This antique silver kettle is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover surmounted with the exceptional and original hallmarked sterling silver gourd shaped finial, securing to the interior with a wing nut. This fine example of Victorian teaware is fitted with an impressive hallmarked sterling silver scrolling handle ornamented with impressive cast S-scroll, leaf decorated terminals accented with large scrolling leaf decorated sockets in junction with the body. This solid silver kettle has a plain paneled swan necked spout with an impressive scalloped shaped socket accented with a paralleling border. This exceptional kettle detaches from the original hallmarked cast sterling silver Stand, supported by four impressive cast scrolling legs accented with further applied leaf ornamentation. The upper portion of the stand is encircled with impressive cast scrolling leaf ornamentation with a central floral design. The stand incorporates a plain scrolling frame which retains the original spirit burner, reflecting the identical paneled form to the body and cover. The silver spirit kettle Stand is fitted with the original chains and security pegs. An exceptional, fine and impressive, composite antique Victorian English sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service/set; part of our silver teaware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian four-piece sterling silver tea and coffee service consists of a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug. Each piece has a pear shaped form onto a circular spreading foot. The pieces of this Victorian tea and coffee set are embellished with embossed panels in a swirl design, accented with bright cut engraved segmented quatrefoil leaf motifs on a textured background. One side of each piece incorporates a circular cartouche displaying the engraved initial 'B'. The upper rims are encompassed with plain applied moulded borders. The teapot and coffee pot are fitted with domed hinged hallmarked covers reflecting the identical decoration as that to the body. A fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver three piece tea service/set; part of our Victorian silver teaware collection. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver three piece tea set consists of a teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug / creamer. Each piece has an inverted pear shaped form on to a domed spreading foot. The upper portion of each piece is embellished with a broad band of bright cut engraved interlacing scroll and leaf decoration accented with stylised shell designs. The decoration to the body of each component incorporates two shaped, scroll decorated cartouches: one of which is vacant, the other displaying a bright cut engraved crest of a talbot*. The teapot is fitted with a hinged domed cover encircled with a band of bright cut engraved strapwork style decoration. The cover retains the original and impressive, hallmarked cast sterling silver stemmed floral finial. The fine teapot spout is ornamented with concave fluted decoration to the lower portion in addition to scrolling leaf designs extending up to the lip. The teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl are all fitted with impressive C scroll handles ornamented with acanthus leaf decorated thumbpieces.
