About the Item

Product Description: The teapot on offer here has been designed by Ulla Procopé for Arabia. Ulla, who died young at an age of 47, is responsable for a whole series of famous designs at Arabia. Ulla Procopé was the designer of the posthumously released Ruska-series. Also the "Valencia"-series sprouted from her brain. Starting her career as a potter at the Arabia factory in 1948 she moved to the design department in 1951 at the invitation of Kaj Franck. The light-brown chocolatey color of the teapot along with its elegant form make it fit for almost any table. The rotan handle gives the teapot an asian feel. The teapot can only host 0,7 liters of water making it most suitable to use in a romantic tea for two. Product Condition: The teapot is in a good state but has some traces of use. Apart from some pinhole dents created in the proces of production there are some small scratches visible. The rotan handle has some wear as well. None of the imperfections detract from the product's beauty.

Product Description This casserole was designed by Kaj Franck for Arabia in 1951. From 1953 onwards the item has been produced under the series name "Kilta", production stopped in 1974. Iittala re-introduced the designs (whilst making small changes) in a series called "Teema" from 1981 onwards. I believe, based on the feel and looks of the item, that this casserole is...
