Matched pair of Early 20th Century English Hand Crafted Fairground Fragment
These historic hand carved early 20th century English fairground ride decorative fragments have stood the test of time. Worn in all the right places and with aged damage. The decorative elements and detail are all hand carved with layered paint still attached. We assume these items would have been accompanied by several more similar carvings on a gated area of a fairground ride of sorts. Back in the day when attention to detail at a fairground was everything by the showman.

In overall very presentable worn solid condition, with wooden carved sections missing (broken off) due to damage and age, with faded and loss of painted surface also. Some original placement nails are still in place on one of the artefacts as shown.
