About the Item

The "Teli" ceiling lamp, designed by Achille Castiglioni for Flos in the 1970s, is an extraordinary example of design where minimalist elegance and innovation harmoniously converge. Its exceptional lightness—achieved through the use of "Raflon," an industrial packaging material repurposed as the lampshade—introduces a cutting-edge element that gives the lamp an ethereal, suspended, and floating appearance. As expected from a Flos creation, the Teli ceiling lamp represents the perfect synergy between art and engineering. Merging Castiglioni’s visionary approach with Flos’ renowned craftsmanship, the lamp embodies a fusion of form and function, with clear references to Japanese and Eastern lighting traditions. The result is an object that not only captivates the eye but also fulfills its core purpose: to illuminate spaces with unmatched grace. This first edition example, fully restored, is in remarkably good condition. The lamp features an E27 socket, compatible with the American E26 standard, and is sold complete with its original ceiling rose.
