About the Item
Early 18th C., France, a Régence Ormolu Chandelier from The Keck Collection, sold Sotheby's 5 Dec 1991. The six light chandelier with a support composed of a gadrooned baluster-shaped urn flanked by three scrolled consoles surmounted by masks, the circular lower part with outset angles suspending grape clusters and fitted with acanthus leaf-cast candle branches fitted with foliate-cast drip pans and nozzles. Fitted for electricity,

Good, scattered discolorations and rubbing to gilding consistent with age and use. Wiring untested.
