Stunning and amazingly sculptural Gothic Art chandelier.
If you are an antique collector with an eye for the extra special then this four light bronze chandelier could be right up your ally. This incredibly well made chandelier consists of three arms that are decorated with three of the most amazing Gothic dragons you will ever see. Another remarkable feature is the unique bronze sculpture of the female jester at the centre of this chandelier. This Gothic symbol of humour and storytelling in this sculpture is bending the moon and, as you can see, the moon is not at all pleased. We were not surprised to find the signature of the maker (A. Bastet of Lyon, image 13) because this work of Gothic, Mediëval art is among the best you will ever see. Both in details and in design you could hardly wish for a more artistic, interesting or eye-catching chandelier and this antique will never fail to impress.
