Mid-Century Metal and Glass Model Bernstein Chandelier from Kalmar

About the Item

Rare glass chandelier from the renowned manufacturer Kalmar. Imposing chandelier with nested glass elements. In its straightness, this design shows a rather functional language of form. From a central shaft, metal bars go outwards at right angles. At the end, the webs branch out, each holding a square element made of thick foam glass. The distinctive screw heads protrude visibly from the outside and are oriented to the proportions of the bars. The glasses are arranged in different levels and in their addition form a complex light sculpture. Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
