Uno & Östen Kristiansson
The Swedish designers and brothers Uno & Östen Kristiansson, known for their lighting and mirror designs, were particularly active in Sweden from the 1950s to the 1970s. They were prolific designers with a clear design aesthetic that is easily recognizable as Scandinavian modern. While there is a lack of biographical information about the couple available, their designs are nevertheless prized by vintage aficionados and are highly sought after in the vintage market today. Uno was born in 1925 and Östen two years later in 1927. Little is known about their formative years, but it can be assumed that they spent their early years in southern Sweden, where they learned the furniture trade from their father, who own furniture store. , Vittsjö Furniture (established 1919), named after the Swedish village in which it was located. In 1950, Uno Kristiansson founded his own production company, Luxus, which was also located in Vittsjö. He produced a range of products, including home and interior lamps, furniture and mirrors, which were designed by the two brothers. The frosted glass in collaboration with the centered light source creates a uniform, general and diffuse light, but with an opening in the glass to also create a direct lightdistribution.
GA7 is manufactured as a fixed luminaire, but can also be hanged from cable.

Erik Gunnar Asplund (22 September 1885 – 20 October 1940) was a Swedish architect, mostly known as a key representative of Nordic Classicism of the 1920s, and during the last decade of his life as a major proponent of the modernist style which made its breakthrough in Sweden at the Stockholm International Exhibition (1930).
Among Asplund's most important works is the Stockholm Public Library, constructed between 1924 and 1928, which stands as the prototypical example of the Nordic Classicism and so-called Swedish Grace movement. It was particularly influential on the proposal submitted for the competition for the design of the Viipuri Library in 1927 by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, who regarded Asplund as his mentor.
Another important work is the extension of the Gothenburg Courthouse Extension building which Asplund started on 1913 and finished 1937 - it shows his transformation from neo-classical to functionalist architect, a transformation in parallel with other European modernists like Erich Mendelsohn.

This Regal Gustavian Period Chandelier in the Russian Imperial Style has twelve candle branches and is fashioned in doré bronze, silverplated bronze, and is pinned with faceted icicle crystal pendants. The elegant corona has bronze sprays with icicle crystal pendants flowing up into a stylized fountain motif.
