Pair of French 19th Century Louis XV Style Girandole Lamps

About the Item

An elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XV st. electrified Baccarat crystal and ormolu Girandole lamps. Each five arm, two light lamp is raised by a fine circular ormolu base with a lovely mottled design and fine turned shaped central futs. At the center of each Girandole are five elegantly scrolled arms, each adorned with a stunning array of beautiful clear and smoky cut Baccarat crystal pendants. Each arm displays fine candle cups and floral bobeches decorated with charming smooth cut crystal pendants. The ormolu central futs leading up the back is encased in striking Baccarat crystals leading up to impressive daggers with ormolu ball finials and flanked by beautiful ormolu sprays with most decorative and uniquely shaped crystal pendants. All original gilt throughout.
