Space Age White Opaline Floor Lamp in the Style of Carlo Nason, Italy, 1970s

About the Item

A splendid floor lamp made in Italy between the 1960s and 1970s in the style of the products designed by Carlo Nason. The floor lamp has the typical mushroom shape of Space Age lamps. It is composed of 3 parts in white opaline glass , the lowest module has the shape of a cylinder, while the middle one has an irregular and rounded shape, which recalls the playful design of the Memphis Group, the upper terminal module has a spherical shape They are assembled together with internal metal inserts. The entire lamp is lit by an "Osram" led fluorescent tube which creates splendid effects of light filtered by the opaline glass. The lamp is working and the glasses are intact. It shows signs of use and aging, such as scratches or small dents, on the white lacquered metal base. .
