About the Item
A rare first-generation hospital wall fixture developed by the renowned Swedish manufacturer Bröderna Malmströms Metallvarufabrik in the mid-1950s. It’s based on the BM architect lamp, originally designed by engineer Karl Gustaf Lindesvärd in 1944, with a single balanced arm mounted on a robust wall fixture. Constructed from partly white-painted steel with chrome details, this fixture was specifically designed for hospital use, featuring a versatile construction that allows the shade to be positioned in multiple directions. Length 110 cm, diameter shade 16 cm, wall mount 15x20 cm. Intended for hardwiring, but an extra cable is included.
