Pair Louis XV Bronze Doré Candlesticks Mounted Lamps W/ Tole Bouillotte Shades

About the Item

Regal Pair of French Louis XV Bronze Dore´ Candlesticks Mounted as Lamps with Black painted Tole Bouillotte Shades. The French Louis XV Gilded Bronze Candlesticks have a Foliate Tri-Scalloped Circular Raised Base. The Central Gilt Rococo Stems of these Louis XV Candlesticks have a twisted Foliate Bulbous Form. The French Louis XV Bronze Dore´ Candlestick Stems raise to a Foliate Candle Cup with Rococo Bobeche. The French Rococo Gilt Candlesticks were mounted into Lamps in the early 20th Century with Brass Square Tubing and Tole Bouillotte Shades mounted attached by three Bronze Arms with an adjustable Scallop Key to raise and lower the shade. The Louis XV Lamps have an elegant cast Bronze Flame Finial. The Tole Bouillotte Shades are painted white on the interior and black on the exterior.
