Manly P Hall, the Secret Teachings of All Ages, First Edition Book & 4 Prints
Located in Los Angeles, CA
The classic encyclopedia of the arcane in an expanded edition. Renowned philosopher and lecturer Manly P. Hall’s masterful encyclopedia of ancient symbols, hidden rituals, and arcane practices has remained a classic since first published in 1928. Hall’s densely detailed writings explore topics ranging from Hermeticism to Tarot, Egyptian mythology to Pythagorean theory. Each chapter is accompanied by the vivid illustrations of artist J. Augustus Knapp, with additional images by Mihran Serailian found in the companion volume, each taking their own unique approach to nearly 60 artworks depicting occult subject matter. The initial concept for what became known as Hall’s “Great Book”, first began in 1923 when the young Los Angeles-based orator began a months-long trip around the globe. Circumnavigating by ship, Hall visited Egypt, China and India, immersing himself in the philosophical and religious history of each country. Upon his return he spent the next five years penning his massive compendium of philosophy and myth. Nearly a century after its release, this iconic masterwork has been reproduced for the first time from the rare and extravagant original edition. This meticulously-restored version of Hall’s “Great Book” is also accompanied by an expansive companion book, featuring condensed summaries of each chapter of The Secret Teachings, alongside newly-discovered artworks, rare photography...

Ice Cold, ‘A$AP Rocky’, Limited Ed Book with Black & Signed Fine Art Print
Located in Los Angeles, CA
The definitive photographic history of how hip-hop blinged out and redefined the world of jewelry, luxury, and style. Signed black-and-white pigment print on Canson Platine paper, 16 x 20 in.; hardcover volume in a slipcase, 9.8 x 13.4 in., 6.29 lb., 388 pages. Whether it’s diamond-encrusted grills, oversized “truck” style chains, bust-down Rolex and Patek Philippe watches, or a Tiffany necklace, jewelry is a cornerstone of hip-hop culture. Glittering, blinged-out jewels are the shining statement of a collective identity: unapologetic, charismatic, and street savvy. Spanning the history of hip-hop jewelry, from the 1980s to today, Ice Cold: A Hip-Hop Jewelry History is a stunning compilation of storytelling and visuals. Hundreds of extraordinary images of every major hip-hop artist on record celebrate how “ice” has become a proclamation of identity and self-expression. Starting with Run-DMC’s gold Adidas pendants and Eric B. & Rakim’s ostentatious dookie rope chains and Mercedes medallions, the jewelry then transforms from street style into a booming design culture. The hip-hop tradition of “show up and show out” reaches new heights with artists like Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, and Cardi B...

Birds of Massachusetts and Other New England States by Edward H. Forbush, 1st Ed
Located in Colorado Springs, CO
Forbush, Edward Howe. Birds of Massachusetts and Other New England States. Massachusetts Department of Agriculture, 1927-1929. First edition printings, in three volumes. Octavo, green cloth boards with gilt titles to the spine and front. Illustrated throughout with full color plates. Presented is the first printing of Edward Howe Forbush’s Birds of Massachusetts and Other New England States, a Classic of ornithological literature. The book is presented in three green cloth-bound volumes, as published by the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture, from 1927-1929. Forbush's Birds of Massachusetts and Other New England States was the culmination of a career that began very early in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Forbush gave up school at fifteen to devote himself to the study of birds and one year later became the Curator of Ornithology at the Worcester Natural History Society's museum. As a young adult, Forbush was in the forefront of the conservation movement, working as the Ornithologist to the Massachusetts State Board of Agriculture, where his duties included determining which bird species at that time were deemed detrimental or beneficial to agriculture. By 1896 he became one of the founders and supporters of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, and in 1908 he was named the first Massachusetts State Ornithologist. Forbush presents both an engaging and thorough examination of the avian scene of Massachusetts. Volume I (1925) covers waterbirds, marsh birds, and shore birds. Volume II (1927) deals with land birds from bobwhites to grackles and Volume III (1929) details land birds from sparrows to thrushes. Volumes I, II, and a small portion of III are beautifully illustrated with Louis Agassiz Fuertes...
