About the Item

A rare 16-17th cenury Ming Dynasty standing table screen. Untoched original condition. Hand carved wood, the panel is carved with relief details depicting a dragon, cranes, mythical animals, flowers, etc. painted in polychrome. Naive in its style. Very decorative, - use its as a piece of art or a sculpture. From Shanxi Province, China 16th-17th century (Ming Dynasty).
