We have playfully revisited these motifs in our design studio. Designed by Sara Efia Reddin and woven by Master weavers in the Volta region of Ghana, this cotton cushion is a beautiful touch of graphic history. Technics used to make the kente cushion 2-Step Kente weaving is a a traditional African weaving technic from Ghana. Our Kente cushions are not only beautiful, they are also very resistant and of a very high quality only found when making things by hand. To own one of our woven cloths, is to encourage the modernisation of a beautiful tradition, inspiring and supporting the weaving communities by introducing their art to the contemporary design world.
