About the Item

Rare, beautiful quality and highly decorative brass & copper Arts & Crafts stand. Looking for a stylish and practical antique to upgrade your entrance? This entirely handcrafted, early 1900s hall stand is probably a unique antique and it is in good condition still. The combination of the yellow and red copper, the hand-hammered brass nails and the wooden inside/frame is an absolute joy to look at. However, the highlights of this stand are of course the magnificent, embossed peacocks surrounded by leaves and berries. The rear is also entirely covered with partially embossed copper, but without the peacock birds. If you are a lover of wild birds in general and of majestic peacocks in particular then this original and practical Arts and Crafts umbrella stand could be the perfect antique for you to come home to. Again great value for money, also, because perfect packing and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days is complimentary. Maximum width x height x depth: 26 x 12.5 x 9.5 inches. We have a passion for the unique, for quality, for stylish yet practical and for craftsmanship of years gone by. Your purchases will be extremely well packaged and we look forward to serving you (again). You can shop all our 1000+ listings on 1stdibs by pushing the button that reads 'View All From Seller'.
