The rug has a large format design and beautiful combination of colors including yellow, baby blue, pink, green and many others that have gradually developed different hues. The rug has a wonderful design similar to the rugs woven during the 16th century in Persia. It has a pale yellow field color with a large floral design with palmettes, sickle leaves, and tendrils. The field is framed by an alternating palmette border on a salmon-colored ground. There is a central medallion in French blue. The design accent colors include French blue, pink, brown, yellow, green, and red. Truly a masterpiece in design and the use of colors.
