About the Item

Very rare and desirable pair of red side chairs designed by Hans Wegner for Hansen and Son, Denmark, 1950s. These are in very good completely original condition and were acquired from the original owner. It's obvious they were very well cared for. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The red finish is original and shows a few spots of finish loss but no distractions. Both are sturdy and ready to use. These are great examples of this important mid century modern design.
