About the Item

The Quinta Chair is an iconic piece of design, with use of perforated sheet metal and tubing,which are typical for Botta’s furniture and lamps. The lines of these chairs are sharp, rational and symmetric, and seen as his answer to the Memphis Movement of the 1980s. Note that the mint green edition is very rare, these chairs had to be custom ordered at Alias. On permanent exposition in the Museum of Modern Art, NY Condition: Good vintage condition. Signs of use on the metal, as per pictures. Chairs remain stable and structurally strong with no important damages. Origination: Switzerland, 1980s. Not labelled.
